German Carla Simon and Turkish Sema Aslan work as detectives in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. They may be very different, but they make a good team. Her boss is Richard Wohmann, her colleagues include Doris Schelling and Bernie Ziegler. Later Frauke Hansen comes to the station. Sema's friend is initially Jürgen, later Thomas.
