The year is 1999, and provincial silence hangs heavy over a small Danish town. Lukas, Kris and Alex hang out, party and try to keep the aimless boredom at bay. But beneath the surface, a darkness lurks in the city, and when Alex disappears without a trace after a party, Lukas and Kris team up with Alex's sister Emma to find him.
