The Hat Squad was broadcast Wednesday nights on CBS. A group of orphaned young men and their foster father comprise a special police unit that pursues the most wanted criminals. Rafael Martinez (Nestor Serrano), Buddy Capatosa (Don Michael Paul) and Matt Matheson (Billy Warlock), foster sons of a police captain, wear trademark black fedoras as members of a special unit.
