Based on the story "Actress" by Ekaterina Markova. In a famous Moscow drama theater, mysterious murders occur one after another. The main director of the troupe, Alena Pozdnyakova, becomes the only person who can determine the motives, explain the goals and reveal the relationship of these crimes. The entire theatrical environment of Alena is involved in the whirlpool of events, and she herself barely escapes cruel reprisals.
