Bachelor Vladimir Arkhipov lived peacefully with his faithful mastiff and had no intention of changing anything in his life. Everything happened against his will. His eccentric neighbor, Lizaveta, died, leaving him an apartment and her adopted "orphan girl" as an inheritance. The orphan turned out to be a grown woman named Masha, who stunned the lonely Arkhipov. But why didn't the neighbor leave the apartment to her?
