On September 23, 2021, a group of hikers on Mount Elbrus was forced to fight for survival amidst ferocious weather. This honest documentary drama about the tragedy that shook the nation presents events from the participants' own perspectives as they recount their desperate struggle to stay alive. A sudden turn for the worse in the weather, a blizzard, zero visibility, indifferent mountains, and an icy hell—there is nothing romantic about the fight for survival. Yet, even in such conditions, there was room for the heroism of ordinary people, for self-sacrifice, and for humanity. It is a cautionary series about the indifference of the elements and a poignant story about the love of life.
