Un medico in famiglia tells the story of the Martini, a family which initially consisted of a widowed doctor with three children and his father, who move to Poggio Fiorito, where he is divided between his relatives and the experimental CHS (ASL in Italian) in which he works. With the passing of the seasons and the continuous change of the cast, the family has undergone profound changes.
